As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for initiating and monitoring hemodialysis therapies for our patients. This role requires keen patient assessment abilities and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care. Collaborating closely with the nursing team, you will troubleshoot hemodialysis equipment and engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hemodialysis treatments with precision and care

• Monitor patients and respond to hemodynamic status changes

• Document assessments and procedures meticulously

• Work alongside RNs in a collaborative environment

• Engage in quality improvement projects within the unit

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 1 year of current hemodialysis experience required

• 2 years acute care experience preferred

• Familiarity with Gambro Artis hemodialysis machines preferred

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
