Part-Time Registered Nurse in Geriatric Care

You will assess and treat patients while promoting health through various nursing methodologies. Engaging with families and interdisciplinary teams, you will educate and support dementia care. Your leadership will extend to mentoring new staff, enhancing team collaboration and continuity of care within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage nursing care for patients
• Lead discussions in interdisciplinary care forums
• Mentor nursing students and new team members
• Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and professional growth
• Uphold patient safety standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Nursing diploma required; degree preferred
• Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Commitment to team success and continuous learning
• Computer literacy for patient record management
