In this vital role, you will manage nursing assessments and oversee care for residents, ensuring adherence to the Long Term Care Homes Act. Your leadership will boost team performance, fostering compassion and individualized care within the Resident Care Team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, delegate, and supervise nursing care for residents
• Encourage resident-centered care practices and support residents’ rights
• Mentor interdisciplinary staff for nursing excellence
• Assess residents' health and report critical information to physicians
• Manage nursing supplies and inventory efficiently
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse credential from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• At least one year of experience in long-term care settings
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills
