Position SummaryThe Senior Fertility Nurse plays a central role in guiding and supporting patients throughout their fertility journey — from initial consultation and diagnostic workup to cycle monitoring and early pregnancy care. This role combines clinical expertise, patient education, emotional support, and operational coordination in a collaborative, fast‑paced clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities Weekday Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Coordination- Collaborate daily with Physicians, Nurses, Laboratory, and Administrative teams
- Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, medications, consents, and financial processes
- Coordinate and prepare patients for diagnostic testing and treatment cycles
- Provide emotional support and guidance throughout treatment
- Monitor patient recovery following egg retrieval procedures
- Dispense medications accurately and ensure pharmacy inventory is maintained
- Communicate medical instructions and results via phone, email, and patient portal
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation
- Practice in accordance with the standards and Code of Ethics of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient records at all times
- Participate in developing and maintaining departmental policies and standards of care
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and dress code
- Promote a respectful, collaborative, and positive work environment
- Attend staff and clinic‑wide meetings
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability
- Address conflict constructively and align behaviours with Pollin’s mission and values
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned
- Meet with patients during cycle monitoring to review results and dispense medications
- Perform stimulation checks, including review of stimulation sheets and requisitions
- Collaborate with REI physicians to review results and obtain updated treatment orders
- Book IUIs and semen collection appointments for cycle monitoring patients
- Contact patients daily with results and instructions
- Schedule egg retrieval procedures (OPUs) for IVF patients as required
- Organize and coordinate patient appointments
- Weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation participation is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current Professional Liability Insurance
- Current BCLS certification required (ACLS considered an asset)
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience in a fertility setting
- Strong patient education and counseling skills
- Ability to explain complex treatment plans, procedures, risks, and emotional considerations clearly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional empathy and patient‑centered care approach
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and decision‑making skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort interpreting and managing clinical data related to fertility treatments
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Google Workspace
- Ability to work both independently and within a cross‑functional team
- Knowledge of providing safe, inclusive care to gender and sexually diverse communities (2
SLGBTQIA+) - Professional demeanor and strict commitment to confidentiality
- Clinic environment
- 7-day operation (typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Weekend and holiday work required as needed
- Participation in on‑call rotation required
- Mandatory 3-week initial training at the Toronto location
Starting Salary: $45.00 per hour (based on years of experience and qualifications) In addition to competitive hourly compensation, Pollin offers:

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, certifications, and alignment with role requirements.
