In our busy maternity center, responsible for about 6,000 annual deliveries, you will render direct care in both Labour and Delivery and Recovery settings. This role requires assessing neonatal health, educating families, and conducting bloodwork. You will also play a vital role in high-risk deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct care in Labour and Delivery and Recovery
• Conduct assessments for fetal and neonatal health
• Engage in effective communication with patients and teams
• Educate patients on procedures and newborn care
• Perform bloodwork and support high-risk delivery situations
Requirements:
• Valid registration from the CNO
• Graduate or near-graduate from an accredited nursing school
• BCLS certification and NRP provider current status
• Complete FHSL course within three months
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
