RN​/RPN Visiting Nurse at VHA

Position: RN/RPN Visiting Nurse Role at VHA
Become part of VHA's adult visiting program in the Central region as a part-time Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse. This role is centered on providing effective home health care to clients and families.

As a visiting nurse, you will apply your nursing expertise while adhering to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Your capabilities in assessment, care planning, and evaluation will ensure the delivery of quality services. Strong communication and accountability will be key to your success in this role within the diverse communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate client needs and care plans

• Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions as necessary

• Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards

• Maintain communication with clients and case coordinators

• Document observations and care activities accurately

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Relevant RN or RPN educational credentials

• Current CPR or First Aid certification

• Experience in nursing, preferably in community settings

• A reliable vehicle and valid Ontario G driver’s license
