As a Nurse Practitioner in Sick Kids' Children's Stroke Program, you will apply advanced nursing practices to support inpatient and outpatient care for stroke-affected children. You will cultivate interprofessional collaboration while leading quality clinical initiatives, mentoring colleagues, and integrating research innovations into patient care. Your expertise will be vital in establishing a comprehensive network of care for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare for stroke patients

• Lead mentorship and interprofessional nursing initiatives

• Conduct environmental assessments and health education

• Collaborate on regional and international pediatric stroke efforts

• Create and author research papers on pediatric stroke care

Requirements:

• Master of Nursing or equivalent clinical degree

• Nurse Practitioner certification with Ontario College registration

• Minimum three years in pediatric nursing, neuroscience preferred

• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
