Position: Registered Practical Nurse for Gynecology
Become a key player in patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Gynecological Procedure Clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

Your role focuses on patient support during non-invasive procedures and education.

Being a Registered Practical Nurse involves providing hands-on care for patients undergoing non-invasive treatments such as hysteroscopy and chorionic villus sampling. You will leverage your knowledge gained from an Operating Room certificate and Clinical Skills to effectively support patients and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments pre-and post-procedures

• Assist medical staff during gynecological interventions

• Provide relevant educational resources to patients

• Work alongside a collaborative healthcare team

• Advocate for principles of Person-Centred Care

Requirements:

• Current Ontario Registration with the College of Nurses

• Required Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification

• ACLS certification preferred

• Must have completion of a post-graduate O.R. certificate

• Ability to make clinical decisions under pressure
