St. Michael's Hospital invites registered nurses from the College of Nurses of Ontario to apply for an immersive 13-week training program. Selected candidates will build expertise in holistic, patient-centered care while collaborating with an inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes. The course includes both academic and clinical evaluations to ensure professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care
• Coordinate and document comprehensive care activities
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Engage in continuous learning and reflective practice
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Current General Class Registration with Ontario Nurses College
• Minimum of two years in an acute care setting
• BLS Certification is mandatory
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent attendance record required
