Join Bayshore Northern Staffing as a Nurse Practitioner at the Toronto Immigration Holding Centre. This part time position focuses on delivering healthcare to at-risk clients three evenings a week.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will assess and treat clients while coordinating care with local healthcare providers. Candidates must have a valid nursing license and at least three years of experience in a primary care setting, especially in mental health and addiction treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct medical examinations and comprehensive assessments
• Document and monitor patient health and treatment plans
• Maintain detailed medical records
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice
• Manage medical equipment and perform decontamination
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of relevant Nurse Practitioner experience
• Degree or certification in related mental health fields
• Valid Reliability Status clearance required
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check within one year
• WHMIS Certification obtained in the past two years
