Nurse Practitioner at Villa Colombo

Empower resident health as a Nurse Practitioner with Villa Colombo Toronto in a permanent part-time role. Provide clinical leadership, assessment, and palliative care for senior residents.

This part-time position requires a commitment of 26 hours bi-weekly at Villa Colombo Toronto. As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll enhance patient outcomes through proactive care, chronic disease management, and mentorship of staff. Your experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing will be crucial as you address the unique health needs of older adults in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight for interdisciplinary care teams

• Lead care for a designated group of residents

• Mentor and educate staff on clinical skills

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees

• Maintain current knowledge of best practices and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum one year in geriatric or long-term care nursing

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Knowledge of relevant health legislation and practices

• Ability to communicate effectively, including in Italian

• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
