Position: Nurse Practitioner Role at Villa Colombo
Join Villa Colombo Toronto as a Nurse Practitioner to elevate care for older adults. This part-time role offers a chance to make a significant impact through clinical and educational leadership.

This permanent part-time position involves 30 hours of work bi-weekly, primarily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will utilize your nursing expertise in geriatric and rehabilitation environments while leading interdisciplinary teams. The selected candidate must have an active Ontario RN registration in the Extended Class and experience in long-term care nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive assessments and timely care checks

• Support chronic disease and end-of-life care for residents

• Mentor healthcare staff and promote skills development

• Conduct clinical skills education sessions for teams

• Participate in Quality Committee initiatives for improvement

Requirements:

• One year of clinical experience in long-term care nursing

• Current Registered Nurse license in Extended Class

• Understanding of nursing policies and regulations

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to communicate in Italian is preferred
