You will be part of a dedicated team within the unique Burns & Plastics, Urology & Ophthalmology unit, the only verified Pediatric Burn Centre in Canada. Your responsibilities include managing care throughout various phases and preparing patients for innovative procedures. With a commitment to lifelong learning, you will enhance your skills through continuous education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing plans in collaboration with families
• Manage postoperative care and surgical emergencies
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote accountability
• Maintain proficiency in pediatric care dynamics
• Participate in unit-based resource initiatives after one year
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Nursing Program completion
• Registered Nurse with Ontario College of Nurses
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• Preferred experience in pediatric settings
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
