This position focuses on nursing patients with diverse and complex needs in our state-of-the-art facility. You will work collaboratively with physicians and allied health professionals to provide values-driven care.
Your role will involve direct patient care, emphasizing harm reduction, mental health support, and trauma-informed practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop anti-oppressive nurse-client relationships
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team for coordinated care
• Conduct assessments and implement comprehensive care plans
• Provide nursing care for various medical conditions
• Mentor new staff and nursing students
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 2 years of general nursing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is essential
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Experience in harm reduction or working with marginalized communities is preferred
