Nurse Practitioner - Part Time

This role is designed for experienced Nurse Practitioners eager to work with a varied demographic, including families and those affected by mental health issues. You will work at the Toronto Immigration Holding Centre, combining patient assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans with local healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical examinations and document findings

• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans

• Manage and sanitize medical equipment effectively

• Provide health promotion and disease prevention guidance

• Monitor patient health and administer necessary treatments

Requirements:

• Three years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care

• Background in mental health and addiction treatment preferred

• Degree or relevant certification in associated fields

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license and security clearance required

• WHMIS training and VSC needed
