Position: Full-Time Trauma Nurse Role
St. Michael's Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse specializing in Trauma & Neurosurgery in Toronto. Utilize your expertise to provide effective, evidence-based patient care and advocacy.
In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll collaborate with an inter-professional team to manage care for adult post-surgical patients. Your participation in continuous learning will further enhance nursing practices, helping patients achieve optimal recovery. Engage in key initiatives that support the growth of healthcare in trauma care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' care and learning needs

• Design and appraise personalized care plans

• Cultivate team-oriented relationships with healthcare professionals

• Support patient education and care transition processes

• Contribute to hospital committees focused on quality improvement
Requirements:

• Current General Class Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BLS Certification required

• Recent experience in post-surgical patient care essential

• Neurosurgery exposure is a plus

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities
