Nurse Practitioner

Position: Nurse Practitioner Needed
Bayshore Northern Staffing seeks a Nurse Practitioner for part-time work at the Toronto Immigration Holding Centre. Provide essential medical services to diverse clients three evenings weekly.

This role involves working 12 hours per week, specifically on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday evenings. You will assess, treat, and coordinate client care, ensuring that all documentation and health monitoring are meticulously maintained. Additionally, your role includes educating clients on health promotion and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and evaluations

• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans

• Maintain accurate medical records and document diagnoses

• Administer intravenous medications and treatments

• Offer advice on health promotion and disease prevention

Requirements:

• At least three years as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care

• Related degree or certification in mental health

• Valid license from the College of Nurses

• Must secure Reliability Status security clearance

• Vulnerable Sector Check and WHMIS Certification needed
