UHN Intensive Care Registered Nurse Position

As part of a distinguished 38-bed Medical/Surgical/Neuro Intensive Care unit, you will work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting. This role focuses on delivering nursing care that aligns with the UHN Skilled Practice Model and adheres to ethical frameworks. Continuous professional development and training are integral components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care aligned with UHN’s standards

• Adhere to ethical codes and professional standards

• Engage in ongoing education and training sessions

• Reflect on nursing methodologies for continual improvement

Requirements:

• Must hold registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Completion of a Critical Care course is necessary

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred

• Neurosurgery experience is beneficial
