Become a part of Sunnybrook's Critical Care Unit as a Registered Nurse. Support critically ill patients through assessment and education while working with a multidisciplinary team.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, your role involves both patient advocacy and the implementation of nursing interventions tailored to critically ill individuals. The focus is on delivering a holistic approach to patient care that aligns with both Hospital standards and the Ontario College of Nurses. A commitment to patient-centered care is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients’ critical conditions
• Provide effective interventions and necessary education
• Collaborate with family and healthcare team for optimum care
• Actively participate in patient-centered quality initiatives
• Document care plans and interventions accurately
Requirements:
• Active membership with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Certification in BCLS and preferred ACLS
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• Critical Care experience or certification required
• Engagement in ongoing professional development in nursing
