5. Deliver essential psychiatric care while working collaboratively in a supportive healthcare environment.
This role features permanent, full-time employment where you will provide care for clients at various stages of their recovery. Upholding the highest professional standards, you will apply evidence-based interventions and engage in continuous assessments. Additionally, contribute to educational support for nursing students and work within a diverse inter-professional team committed to client safety and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to client care needs respectfully and safely
• Ensure safety in the client care setting
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Utilize critical thinking in clinical situations
• Collaborate on program development and client educational support
Requirements:
• Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Completion of medication administration certification
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric and addiction issues
• Self-directed with excellent organizational skills
• Bilingualism is considered an asset
