Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner at UHN
Elevate patient care at the Krembil Brain Institute as a Nurse Practitioner. This role focuses on neurosurgical and spine patient management within a supportive and stimulating environment.

University Health Network (UHN) seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner for the Krembil Brain Institute, specifically for inpatient neurosurgical and spine units. The NP will exercise autonomy in clinical decision-making, enhance patient care quality, and contribute to staff education. Strong emphasis is placed on leadership and involvement in initiatives that advance nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and interpret comprehensive patient data

• Manage diagnoses and complex patient responses independently

• Lead quality improvement initiatives in patient care

• Engage in policy development and conduct nursing research

• Coordinate education and professional development programs

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner

• Valid Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 3-5 years acute-care nursing experience in relevant fields

• Familiarity with spinal and neurosurgical conditions

• Strong decision-making and communication skills
