In this permanent full-time position, the Registered Nurse will deliver patient care during the vital recovery phase after surgical procedures. You will manage complex cases with advanced airway and pain management techniques, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention based on their specific needs. The role also involves a commitment to professional development in a technology-enhanced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate care to patients after surgical procedures
• Administer advanced pain and airway management as required
• Care for patients recovering from various anesthetic techniques
• Document patient care using computerized systems
• Support change and innovation within the PACU team
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification upon hire required
• At least 1 year of Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience
• 2 years of acute surgical nursing experience required
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
