This position focuses on providing quality, evidence-based nursing care in a supportive interdisciplinary environment. You will collaborate closely with Registered Nurses, planning and assessing patient needs while implementing tailored care plans. Your training in dementia and responsive behaviors will be essential for enhancing patients' well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work alongside Registered Nurse for comprehensive patient care
• Plan and assess nursing interventions, including medications
• Facilitate activation and recreational activities for residents
• Conduct detailed client assessments as part of care
• Develop individualized care plans collaboratively
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Experience preferred in long-term care or community settings
• Background in dementia and mental health assessment
• Proficient communication and problem-solving abilities
