Nurse Practitioner in Acute Pain Management

This Nurse Practitioner role is centered on providing advanced nursing care within the Acute Pain Service. Your mission is to foster interdisciplinary approaches to pain management, guiding nursing initiatives and supporting education. You will work autonomously to evaluate patient outcomes and ensure adherence to best practices while reporting to the Senior Clinical Program Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and interpret diagnostic tests autonomously
• Analyze and synthesize research to improve patient care
• Contribute to nursing knowledge through presentations
• Lead quality improvement methodologies in practice
• Act as a consultant for decision-making in care
Requirements:
• Must hold a Master's degree in Nursing
• Current Adult or Primary Health Care NP in Ontario
• 3-5 years nursing experience in pain management
• CPR or BCLS certification required
• Leadership experience in education or research
