In this specialized nursing role, you will provide care management and education to patients and the healthcare team. This position can be tailored to your schedule—whether you prefer full-time or part-time commitments. You'll play a pivotal role in implementing best practices while forming meaningful relationships with patients and leading by example in wound care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage wound, ostomy, and continence care
• Educate nursing staff and families about care practices
• Provide direct consultation and support remotely or on-site
• Engage in leadership roles related to wound management
• Collaborate with internal and external healthcare personnel
Requirements:
• Certification in advanced wound care necessary
• Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse with relevant experience
• Membership with Wound Ostomy & Continence Canada beneficial
• Capable of conducting BCLS as required
• Thorough understanding of wound care standards and products
