You will work as a Registered Nurse in the PACU, responsible for the care of patients immediately after surgery. This includes advanced pain management and airway support tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring a smooth recovery process. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee care for patients in the recovery phase after surgery
• Deliver specialized airway and pain management
• Monitor patients recovering from various anesthesia types
• Document care accurately using advanced computerized systems
• Collaborate as part of a dynamic nursing team
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 1 year of Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of acute surgical nursing experience
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork capabilities
• PACU certification to be acquired within 6 months
