Registered Practical Nurse in Medical Facility

Become part of a health care team as a Registered Practical Nurse in a hospital or clinic setting. You will provide essential nursing care while applying your aseptic techniques and patient monitoring skills.

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our medical facility on a permanent basis. The role involves monitoring patient health, conducting specimen collections, and ensuring strict infection control. Your responsibilities will also include assisting surgical teams and offering pre-operative and post-operative care to enhance patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply aseptic techniques and perform sterile dressing changes

• Conduct specimen collection and monitor vital signs

• Provide technical assistance in surgery settings

• Ensure infection control and document patient observations

• Offer health education to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Must be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse

• IV therapy Certification required

• Completion of Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate

• Valid CPR Certificate
