Acute Care Registered Practical Nurse

Deliver compassionate person-centred care as a Registered Practical Nurse in the acute setting at K3E Acute, focusing on diverse patient needs and teamwork.

This role requires a highly skilled RPN who will work independently and collaboratively to support patients in Internal Medicine. You will conduct assessments, implement evidence-based interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes while adhering to person-centred care principles in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patient and family care needs

• Complete initial and ongoing assessments of patients

• Implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions

• Commit to ongoing professional development

• Collaborate with RNs on patient care plans

Requirements:

• Ontario RPN registration in good standing

• Current CPR certification from Heart and Stroke Foundation

• RPN diploma required

• 6-12 months acute care experience preferred

• Certification in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
