Cardiovascular Intensive Care Registered Nurse

As a key member of the CVICU team, you will play a critical role in applying the Philosophy of Person-Centred Care while working collaboratively to improve patient outcomes. This position requires intensive care experience and a dedication to continuous education, emphasizing cardiovascular specialties and organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage care for CVICU patients
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences
• Perform interventions and provide intensive education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Support the philosophy of Person-Centred Care
Requirements:
• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• BCLS and ACLS certification preferred
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• ICU and CVICU experience required
• Commitment to continuing education in cardiovascular care
