Medical Imaging Nurse

Position: Full-Time Medical Imaging Nurse
Join Humber River Health as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Imaging Department. This temporary full-time role requires vital patient care skills and offers a dynamic work environment.

You will operate within our Medical Imaging Department as a Registered Nurse. This position demands recent experience in Medical Imaging and critical care environments, and you'll be responsible for ongoing patient assessments and education. Working collaboratively with an inter-professional team, you will ensure patients receive comprehensive care before, during, and after imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before imaging

• Monitor vital signs and administer medications

• Assist during interventional and diagnostic procedures

• Manage patient recovery and discharge instructions

• Address adverse reactions and initiate emergency protocols

Requirements:

• Valid RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in Medical Imaging and ICU/Critical Care

• Current BCLS certification; ACLS preferred

• Proficiency in ECG interpretation and IV therapy

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
