This role offers both full-time and flexible part-time options in a community setting where you can make a significant impact.
As a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC), you will perform advanced assessments and manage patient care. Responsibilities include providing education, consultation, and direct care to ensure evidence-based practices are followed. Build long-term therapeutic relationships while collaborating with a supportive nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct wound and ostomy care management
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Offer clinical consultation and support
• Lead wound care initiatives and patient assessments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance care
Requirements:
• 2+ years RN experience, ideally in community care
• Advanced wound care certification (IIWCC/NSWOC preferred)
• Current registration with CAET
• Strong knowledge of wound care products
• BCLS certification per College of Nurses standards
