This full-time position in Unit 4 & 5 involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, focusing on assessment, education, and prevention strategies for older adults. You will be integral in ensuring health and safety policies, fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals while contributing to the hospital's academic mission through teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the care team for patient assessment and education
• Maintain a safe environment by following health policies
• Build relationships with patients, families, and medical staff
• Contribute to advancing care through teaching and research
Requirements:
• Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing from a recognized institution
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with older adults
• Health assessment course completion preferred
