In this role, you will be responsible for maternal and newborn care during the post-partum period and labor. Your expertise is essential in conducting assessments, providing patient education, and advocating for families. Additionally, you’ll be involved in organizing care and navigating complex scenarios including caesarean sections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care during labor and postpartum
• Conduct patient assessments and interventions
• Deliver bereavement counseling as necessary
• Scrub and assist in surgical procedures
• Collaborate with team for patient-centered care
Requirements:
• CNO Registration in good standing required
• Recent experience in a tertiary obstetric setting
• Background in maternal and newborn care
• Required certifications: CPR and NRP
• Breastfeeding skills course certificate needed
