In this permanent full-time position, you will function across the full nursing scope, catering to diverse patient needs in the PACU. You will apply your critical thinking and teamwork capabilities while managing patients recovering from various anesthetic procedures. Commitment to professional development and a patient-centered approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide recovery care for post-anesthesia patients
• Implement advanced airway management and pain relief
• Work with ventilated and anesthetized individuals
• Use computerized records for patient care tracking
• Collaborate with the PACU team for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 1 year in critical care or emergency nursing
• Minimum 2 years surgical nursing experience required
• PACU certification needed within 6 months
• Strong communication and organizational skills
