Emergency Department Registered Nurse Position

As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will focus on providing primary care to Emergency and Trauma patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment and intervention for patients

• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans

• Advocate for patient needs and educate families

• Support quality improvement initiatives and nursing councils

• Apply critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations

Requirements:

• Current registration with Ontario College of Nurses

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

• Two years recent Emergency experience required

• Current A.C.L.S. and B.C.L.S. certifications

• Ability to manage stress and work independently
