Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse at Humber River Health

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse in the Surgical Program at Humber River Health, you will work on 8-hour shifts including evenings and weekends. Your key responsibilities will include performing scrubbing and circulating duties as part of a dedicated surgical team. Candidates with varying levels of Operating Room experience are encouraged to apply, especially those holding an Operating Room Certificate or perioperative certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in the OR

• Collaborate effectively within the surgical team

• Maintain high standards of patient care during procedures

• Ensure compliance with ORNAC standards

• Exercise sound judgment in fast-paced settings

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Operating Room Certificate or experience

• One year recent OR experience preferred

• BCLS certification upon hire

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
