Toronto Police Service is hiring a Nurse responsible for critical tasks in occupational health and safety. Successful candidates will manage attendance records and disability cases while providing staff education. You'll also oversee vaccination programs and liaise with Public Health on communicable diseases, ensuring a healthy workplace for all officers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review medical files for attendance management
• Manage case discussions on disability and communicable diseases
• Develop education programs for staff wellness
• Monitor vaccination and disease surveillance protocols
• Act as a designated officer for disease follow-ups
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse
• Certified in Occupational Health Nursing
• Minimum three years of Occupational Health experience
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-HCP certification
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
