Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to support patients through various gynecological treatments, including hysteroscopies and chorionic villus sampling. This role requires effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. Your training must meet Ontario standards, with BCLS and Operating Room certifications necessary for meaningful patient engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient assessments for gynecological procedures
• Assist with non-invasive surgical interventions
• Educate patients on care processes and recovery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements:
• Ontario Registration with the College of Nurses
• Current BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Recent Operating Room experience necessary
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
