Enhance your nursing career at Casey House as a part time Registered Nurse. Engage with clients living with and at risk of HIV while delivering comprehensive care in an inclusive environment.
In this casual role, you'll apply your nursing skills within an inpatient team, focusing on bedside nursing and implementing harm reduction strategies. You'll collaborate with a dedicated interprofessional team to support patients with complex medical and psychological needs, fostering meaningful nurse-client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships using a harm reduction framework
• Participate in infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide comprehensive nursing care and develop care plans
• Collaborate daily with an interprofessional healthcare team
• Promote health education and harm reduction strategies
Requirements:
• Actively registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of general nursing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Clinical experience in acute or HIV care is an asset
