Operating Room Project Manager

In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding novice nurses and students within the Operating Room setting. Collaborate with the Advanced Practice Nurse and team leaders to meet learning objectives while ensuring a safe space for growth. Your commitment to improving the onboarding experience for new hires will be essential to reduce turnover and enhance staff satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop recruitment initiatives for OR nursing staff

• Support novice nurses in achieving their learning objectives

• Collaborate on clinical assignments to enhance learning

• Provide daily mentorship to novice staff and students

• Maintain confidentiality and foster respectful interactions

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with CNO of Ontario

• Minimum five years of OR nursing experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BScN) required

• Perioperative Certificate Program Graduate

• Previous leadership or preceptor experience preferred
