This temporary full-time role offers you the chance to work with a dedicated team within Humber River Health's Mental Health and Addictions Program. You will apply your mental health nursing skills through assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention that can change lives for the better.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
• Utilize primary care nursing model to deliver care
• Facilitate individual and group therapeutic interventions
• Provide crisis intervention and mental status evaluations
• Lead team efforts in mental health care coordination
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is essential
• Preferred 2 years of recent experience in mental health nursing
• Current BCLS/CPR certification required
• Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with crisis management experience
