Position: Registered Nurse for Psychiatric Care

Your role involves providing specialized psychiatric care and input on mental health cases in the Emergency Department. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care in a fast-paced environment

• Assess and stabilize patients in acute crises

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members

• Consult on mental health concerns in the ED

• Support nursing excellence through continuous professional development

Requirements:

• Active RN certification issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BScN and BLS Certification necessary

• At least 2 years of experience in mental health

• Understanding of the Mental Health Act

• Proven assessment and de-escalation skills
