Registered Practical Nurse in Palliative Care

As an RPN, you will provide essential nursing care to patients with less complex needs, focused on predictable outcomes and low-risk scenarios. You'll practice according to the nursing standards set by Osler and regulatory bodies while being part of an inter-professional healthcare team. Key skills include assessment, care planning, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe nursing practice in all patient care processes
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in diverse settings
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient health status
• Deliver health education and discharge instructions
• Adhere to infection control and preventive measures
Requirements:
• Minimum two years' experience in acute medicine or palliative nursing
• Relevant palliative care certification or willingness to obtain
• Experienced with TPN, NG tubes, IV therapy, and wound care
• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
