Registered Nurse in Brain Rehabilitation

Elevate your nursing career with the Brain Program at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. As a Registered Nurse, you'll coordinate comprehensive care for ABI patients while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.

This permanent part-time position focuses on planning, evaluating, and managing care for patients and families impacted by Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). You will educate patients and community providers, lead nursing efforts, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your expertise will help shape the recovery journey of vulnerable patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate nursing care for ABI patients

• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes

• Participate in interprofessional team care planning

• Provide mentorship for students and new staff

• Uphold patient safety protocols and hospital policies

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

• Member in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent ABI rehabilitation experience preferred

• Strong health assessment and interpersonal skills

• Computer proficiency and ability to teach students
