Registered Nurse in Imaging Department

Be a part of the Medical Imaging team at Humber River Health as a Registered Nurse. This full-time temporary role focuses on vital patient assessments and collaborative care.

In this role, you will adhere to quality care standards in the Medical Imaging Department. Recent experience in ICU, Emergency, or Pre-Operative Surgery is required as you support patients through imaging procedures. Your contributions will involve ongoing monitoring and documentation of patient health, working alongside technologists and radiologists in an inter-professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments before imaging procedures

• Document vital signs and provide educational support

• Assist with interventional and diagnostic imaging tasks

• Monitor recovery and manage procedural complications

• Implement emergency protocols and patient safety measures

Requirements:

• Current RN registration in good standing

• Recent Medical Imaging and critical care experience

• Valid BCLS certification; ACLS preferred

• Proficient in ECG interpretation and IV skills

• Strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment
