Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook

Elevate patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department laborate with healthcare teams and advocate for patients in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the role of Registered Nurse focuses on emergency and trauma care. Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of recent emergency experience or equivalent critical care training. Your responsibilities include assessment, intervention, education, and supporting the Philosophy of Person-Focused Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care to emergency and trauma patients

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Advocate for patient needs and education

• Utilize critical thinking in care assessments

• Maintain effective communication with patients and families

Requirements:

• Current registration with Ontario College of Nurses

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

• Current B.C.L.S. and A.C.L.S. certifications

• Two years of recent Emergency experience required

• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in Emergency
