As a Registered Practical Nurse at Baycrest, you will play a vital role in executing personalized care strategies at the Terraces Memory Residence. Ideal candidates possess residential and geriatric experience, specifically in dementia and responsive behaviors. Your expertise will help residents achieve physical, psychological, and recreational goals within our unique memory care framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop community education initiatives and provide individual counseling

• Deliver urgent and emergency care to residents as needed

• Address minor episodic health issues effectively

• Monitor and educate clients with chronic illnesses

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, Level C

• At least two years in gerontological nursing

• Minimum five years in Primary Care and acute care

• Strong clinical assessment skills for seniors' complex needs
