A growing Critical Access Hospital is seeking an experienced ED Manager to lead a collaborative nursing team and oversee the daily operations of a busy Emergency Department. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with nursing and executive leadership while driving quality patient care, operational excellence, and staff engagement.
Position Highlights
Lead a busy Emergency Department currently expanding its facilityOversee approximately 40 FTEs, including ED nursing staff, technicians, and House SupervisorsPartner closely with nursing and executive leadership to support operational excellence and quality outcomesPlay a key role in department expansion, process improvement, and future program developmentCompetitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance availableKey Responsibilities
Lead the clinical and operational oversight of the Emergency DepartmentMentor and support a high-performing nursing teamOversee staffing, budgeting, and departmental operationsEnsure quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safetyPartner with physicians and leadership to enhance patient care and department performanceQualifications
BSN, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a BSN currently in progressCurrent Registered Nurse license3+ years of recent hospital nursing experience3+ years of supervisory or management experienceEmergency Department experience preferred; ICU/Critical Care experience welcomedCritical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience strongly preferredTNCC certification preferredIdeal Candidate
