In this casual position, you will play a critical role by performing patient assessments, managing IV access, and monitoring patients during and after infusions. Collaborating with doctors and pharmacists is essential for ensuring comprehensive patient support across two locations. Your expertise in patient education will play a vital role in treatment adherence and self-administration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough pre-treatment patient assessments
• Initiate and manage IV therapy with best practices
• Monitor and document patient responses during infusions
• Provide education on medication and side effects
• Uphold safety and infection prevention protocols
Requirements:
• Current RN license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Infusion certification with practical IV knowledge
• Up-to-date CPR certification
• Flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations
