The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role is integral to Age Care’s mission of delivering high-quality care. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to ensure adherence to nursing best practices and collaborate with external health partners. Guide Personal Support Workers in daily care routines and participate in important shift reports regarding resident conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional nursing care in compliance with policies
• Liaise with healthcare team and external partners
• Communicate any changes in residents’ status urgently
• Direct Personal Support Workers in care delivery
• Assist in shift reporting processes
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation
• Proven record in long-term care environments
• Standing member with the College of Nurses
